For dealers, brokers & exporters at US auto auctions

Every bid. Every fee. Every client. One key.

Auction Key runs your whole auction operation — VIN intelligence, a real ERP, controlled access to Copart, IAA & Manheim for your buyers, and an app your clients open instead of calling you. Ten dollars a car — the ERP and the Access app included.

The problem

You're not running a business. You're chasing one.

Buy enough cars and the chaos compounds: an Excel sheet for inventory, a WhatsApp group per client, one Copart login on a sticky note that eleven people share. Then a storage fee slips past. A client swears he never approved a bid. Nobody remembers whose deposit covered lot 41377.

The margin doesn't vanish at the auction — it leaks on the way home.

There's a better way to hold the keys.

How it works

Follow one car through Auction Key.

This is lot 58214093 — a 2019 Camry SE with front-end damage, rolling across the block in Dallas. Here’s everything that happens between “interesting VIN” and “paid invoice” when Auction Key does the paperwork.

Research

Know the car before you raise a hand.

Paste a VIN into the desktop app and get the car’s whole life story in seconds — title history, damage records, past auction runs, repair math and a suggested max bid. No more twelve tabs and a prayer. You walk into the auction already knowing your ceiling.

The bid

Your buyers bid. You see everything.

Your team opens Auction Key Access — a managed browser for the real Copart, IAA and Manheim, live, not an hour-old copy. Every buyer gets their own login and their own limit. Amir can spend $15,000; the new guy can’t bid a dollar without approval. Every search, click and bid is recorded. Nobody shares a password ever again.

The books

Won at 9:41. In your books at 9:41.

The moment the gavel drops, the car exists in your ERP — buyer fee, gate fee, virtual bid fee itemized, towing and ocean freight estimated, photos attached, and the client already linked, because Auction Key knows who asked for this car. Your real margin is on screen before the Camry leaves the lot.

The client

Your client stops calling. He starts watching.

Your client opens Auction Key Access — the same app your buyers bid from — and sees his Camry: photos from the yard, the itemized invoice, the balance, the shipping timeline. He pays, the ledger updates itself, and you spend the afternoon buying cars instead of answering “any update?”

That was one car. Zero spreadsheets.

Now multiply by every car you’ll buy this year — everything after the VIN check cost you ten dollars flat, for car number one and for car number four hundred.

The toolkit

Three apps. One operation. Two flat prices.

Other platforms sell you a bid tracker and call it a day. Auction Key runs the whole brokerage — research, bidding, books and clients. The operation is ten dollars a car; the research app, a flat fifty a month.

Accountability

Every click, on the record.

The scariest sentence in this business is “I never bid on that car.” On Auction Key it isn’t an argument — it’s a timestamp. Read the log, press play on the session, settle it in a minute.

And because access is a key you grant, not a password you share, the day someone leaves you revoke their key — and nothing else changes.

Questions

Asked by every broker we talk to.

Straight answers. If yours isn’t here, message us — a human replies, usually within the hour.

How does auction access actually work?

You connect your own licensed Copart, IAA and Manheim accounts — the relationships stay yours. Auction Key wraps them in access control: each buyer gets a personal login to a managed browser showing the real, live auction site. You set bid limits and approval rules per user, every action is recorded, and you can revoke any key instantly. No shared passwords, ever.

Is $10 per car really everything?

Almost — ten dollars covers the whole operation: the ERP, Auction Key Access — your buyers bid with it, your clients follow their cars and pay in it — session recording, unlimited users and clients, migration and support. The one exception is VIN Intelligence: the research app is a separate flat $50 a month, because you run reports on plenty of cars you never buy. You still pay the $10 only when you win a car — nothing in months you don’t buy.

Which auctions are supported?

Copart and IAA fully, Manheim included, and we add auction platforms on request — if your business runs through a lane we don’t cover yet, tell us and we’ll build the connector.

My clients aren’t technical. Will they use the app?

The client app does three things: shows their cars with photos, shows what they owe, and lets them pay. If they can use WhatsApp, they can use this — it’s the same Auction Key Access app your buyers bid from, so there’s one app to install and nothing extra to explain.

I already run on spreadsheets or another platform. How painful is switching?

We do the migration for you — cars, clients, balances, history. Most operations are fully moved in a day or two, and you can export everything back out at any time. Your data is yours; that’s a promise, not a setting.

What happens when a client disputes a bid?

You open the session replay. Every search, click and bid is timestamped against a named user with the limit that applied at that moment. Disputes that used to take a week of screenshots end in one minute of playback.

Is this compatible with the auctions’ rules?

You bid through your own licensed accounts — Auction Key adds oversight the auctions don’t provide: named users, limits, approvals and audit logs. We’re independent software, not affiliated with any auction house, and we’re glad to walk your compliance questions through in detail before you commit.
